For the last couple of days I have been very exited for a couple of reasons.
- December! Christmas! (Okay, nothing to do with anything :)) (Except for MorningBerryz's exiting draw which I'm hoping to win (not very probable. I always have very bad luck in draws).)
- Nono's baby! I know it's been already a long time since we got the wonderful news (a couple of days, but it's a long time for a persin whose whole life it is) but I can still say: Congratulations, Nono! This little kid has become a mother. ♪
The name of the baby (Noa) is also very beautiful. And one thing you "idiot girl": you sure are wise to say that you're not going let your baby become an idol before she's finished her schooling. I wish everything good to your family!

Buono! is a very funny unit to me as it consists of Airi, who is my favourite Hello!Project Kid, and Miya and Momo, who instead I've never been very fond of. Though I love Miya's solo lines in early Berry's songs. Everytime I'm like "whooaa, who is singing this line" and go check it at some color-coded lyrics (usually at PROJECThello) the singer is ALWAYS Miya. For example in Natsu Wakame, the b-side of Fighting Pose wa Date ja nai, I enjoy little Miya's very nasal vocals a lot, even though I don't usually like nasal vocals. And little Miya's vocals are always extremely nasal. Good for her, since I even hate Airi's voice when she sometimes sings like that (eg Sayonara no Love Song in their concert). Miya=the only one who can make me like nasal voice. :)
But, even though there's only one member I really like, I love this unit. So I'm exited about the new single. Maybe they will even have an album later, just like Kohachan? That would mean more Airi solos which is always a good thing. I really love her voice. Who could have resisted her in Aa! (I still wonder who came up with that name and what it's suppsed to mean)? I hope that she will get a chance to sing Masayume, the b-side of FIRST KISS, solo in a °C-ute concert. She sang FIRST KISS solo alpready in this autumn's concert tour, so it's Masayume's turn! I'll put Masayume here as probably not everyone has heard it. Such a wonderful song. ♥ It's odd that even though Reina and Miya were also in Aa! I don't like them quite as much as I like Airi (Reina being the least interesting to me). But all three of them sound great in this song.
I don't know if this is already common knowledge or not, but I'll tell it anyway because I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere. :) Have you noticed that pose that Buono! seems to be doing all the time in their videos such as "Making of" feature and the special introduction they did back then when this unit was announced, and that is also featured in that Honto no Jibun single V bacskide cover? Stickin their index finger to their cheek? Do you know what that means? Well, as the group's name is Buono!, this is a gesture that Italian people use to say that the food is good. They stick their index finger to their cheeck and and then spin it. I think it's a nice detail to do, related to the unit's name. I wonder who came up with it, or did they thought about it already when they decided the name for the unit?
But anyway, all this rambling was only to tell you that I'm looking forward to the second single of Buono!, this great anime-related unit.
Next up: the nicely matcing pair, Nacchi-Maimi. What I'm exited about this time, are the previews that are up on this page. As I have been finding myself more and more pleased with the recent style that has been used in Nacchi's and Ayaya's latest releases (Iki wo Kasanemashou and Double Rainbow, another topic for a post :)) and I find these a little bit similar (but just a little, because these actually remind me more of Tanpopo 2nd gen's songs) I'm very happy with these two songs and definitely going to buy this single whichever will be picked to be a-side.
What I'm really amazed by is how good Nacchi's and Maimi's voices sound together. I was a little bit worried about this because I find Nacchi's voice remarkably beautiful but Maimi has yet to convince me. I feared that it would be "the experienced Nacchi" singing excellently and "the hardworking Maimi" desperately trying to sound decent by Nacchi's side. But to my great surprise and also relief Maimi's voice doesn't sound quite so bad while Nacchi is still better, for understandable reasons. I'm very proud of Maimi! ☆
Just wait, year 2008, I'll be a lot poorer then! I still have singles and albums worth of someting like 250 euros to buy from this year, so I doubt I'll ever have enough money to have them all... :,( Choosing is always hard. In hope to be able to live without it, I'm still waiting for winning the jackpot which I've intended to win for a while now. Meanwhile, I'll have to settle for being irresponsible and downloading some of the music (a lot of it) illegally. I'm sorry!
Have anyone else (well of course you have) noticed the recent trend of H!P Kids sub-groups? Before, it was Tanpopo, Petitmoni, Minimoni, but now it's Buono!, Athena and Robbikerottsu (which was originally going to be Gakisan's solo, right?), Nacchi-Maimi? Someday one of these precious H!P kids will go solo while still being in her group just like Yuuko was the first to do in Momusu. By the way that could be Risako, she's the one who's not involved in any sub-groups right now.
It's not bad, I like all these combinations, but throwing in a couple of Momusus and then adding the Kids seems like... "Hey, let's revive the sub-groub thing, they sold quite nicely back then!" "Okay, Momusu is so old already... We did this before with them - this time let's create more ZYXs and Aa!s to promote the Kids! Though they have now their major groups they didn't have back then... Well what the heck, I like the Kids better anyway!" Now we have one totally Kids sub-group, couldn't we have one with Momusu? Like Eririn (well she IS underused), Junjun (I know many people already love her a lot :)) and Reina (just to choose from the ones that aren't doing anything yet), for example. Actually I would like Gakisan-Aika-Eririn the most. And Aichan going solo. :)
The "Exiting ^_^ no.2", where I shall cover my relationship with Ongaku Gatas and Airi's new photobook (as they're related in my mind, don't ask why), will come soon. This post was just going to get too long again. :) I'd also like to thank everyone who bothers to read my blog even though I only just started. ♥
